It was one of those beautiful, humid evenings when sneaks come out of their dens and snoop on the fingers peeking out from under the covers. Even me and Sneak got the urge to tease some little fingers. The kids weren’t afraid of us anymore, so we decided to go somewhere else.

One evening, the Sneak came saying that we should take old Hyunt haunting with us. He’s the oldest and most experienced sneak in the whole block, he’s lived here the longest and yet he spends most of his days locked in his cellar.

Not even old Hjunt could remember a summer this hot. It had warmed up two degrees in his cellar and he was already looking for a pair of scissors to give his coat a summer haircut. But what were we, who live on the top floor of a block of flats, to say?

Tonight my brother Sneak was haunting Mr. Carlos’ house, and I, Bobby Boo, had nothing to do. So I thought I’d go and see what the front of the house looked like. It rained all day today. I heard the kids talking about how great the puddles are outside after the rain and how wonderful it is to stomp and jump in them. I need to try that too!
