Short fairy tales

In the deep ocean, at the very bottom, beautiful corals grew. Those were plants of different colors. Some were bigger, some smaller. They were red, yellow, green and orange. They rippled in the water in different ways. depending on where the current was going. These corals were home to some small fish, but also many shells. They hid in them from various fishermen and divers. They were hiding because they were keeping something precious inside. Each shell had a beautiful pearl inside it. White as snow.

Diana was a sweet young girl. She was always smiling like the sun. She was tall, her long fair hair was always in a ponytail and when she smiled, her eyes lit up. She loved to play the guitar. And she was very good at it, too. She’d make up her own songs and then play them and sing them. But she also had another hobby. She loved trains. Her greatest wish was to be able to travel far away by train and play her songs on the guitar for people. To make someone happy with them and to see new places at the same time. But that was just her wish.

Once there was a small kingdom. It was surrounded by several dense forests. A wise king and his queen lived there. Their daughter lived there with them. A lovely princess named Elizabeth. But she was no ordinary princess. She was different.

After winter comes spring. The grass begins to turn green. The meadows begin to sprout colourful flowers. Animals begin to wake from their winter slumber. Flocks of birds fly back to us from warm places. The sun is getting warmer and it’s warmer everywhere. Sometimes an unexpected warm spring rain drenches our land. When it rains and the sun shines, something beautiful and colourful appears in the sky. You know what? It’s a rainbow. No one has ever seen it begin or end. No one knows how it got here. But I know the story of a little girl who found the magic of the rainbow.

In the middle of a green meadow there was a tree. You could see it far and wide because it was so big. It would take more than ten grown-ups to hug its enormous trunk. Every year it bloomed beautifully and its crown was so big that you couldn’t see the end of it from the ground. But it was no ordinary tree. In its top there lived several elves.

Far outside the town, so far that there were no houses or buildings, there was a well. It was very deep. The water in it was beautifully clean. There was a bucket hanging on the edge of the well. It could be lowered down and anyone who wanted to could draw water and drink. But it wasn’t ordinary water. Nor was the well ordinary. It was the well of wishes and answers.
